Simple Breathing Exercise: Centering Breath
- Sit upright with your feet grounded and spine tall.
- Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
- Inhale slowly through the nose for a count of 4.
- Hold the breath gently for a count of 2.
- Exhale smoothly through the nose for a count of 6.
- Pause briefly at the bottom of the breath for 2.
- Repeat for 5 rounds, focusing on the sound and feel of the breath.
- Return to natural breathing and notice the calm that follows.
